University of Sussex Students' Union. Not-for-profit. Just for Students

At the University of Sussex Students’ Union, we’ve always believed that being part of Sussex means being part of something bigger. A community, a shared experience, and a place that stays with you long after graduation.

That’s why we created our online shop.

What started as an idea to make Sussex merchandise more accessible has grown into a space where students, graduates, and supporters of Sussex can stay connected to their university memories wherever they are in the world. From hoodies and clothing to gifts and everyday essentials, our products are designed to help people celebrate their time at Sussex and wear it with pride.

Because Sussex isn’t just a university - it’s a feeling.

It’s sunny afternoons stretched out on the Falmer lawns between lectures. Last-minute library revision sessions fuelled by caffeine and determination. Walking across campus surrounded by the South Downs. The excitement of Welcome Week, late-night chats in halls, and spotting a seagull eyeing up your lunch a little too confidently.

For some, Sussex is where lifelong friendships began. For others, it’s where they discovered who they wanted to be. Whether you studied here last week or decades ago, those memories have a way of staying with you.

Our merchandise has always been hugely popular with students on campus, and now we’re excited to keep growing our online shop so we can reach not only current students, but alumni too. Our dream is simple: to make sure every Sussex student - past and present - can always have a little piece of Sussex with them.

Most importantly, every purchase supports the Students’ Union and the work we do for students. We’re not driven by shareholders or profit targets.

The online shop is looked after by our small permanent team alongside our fantastic Union Shop student staff, who help bring everything to life both online and on campus. As a student-led organisation, students are at the heart of everything we do - and that includes the products we create, the service we provide, and the community we support.
